With each iteration of Paris Fashion Week, a surge of revitalized energy and newfound creativity occurs. For 3.PARADIS, this PFW represented a new opportunity to expand its house codes with the launch of its women’s collection for the spring/summer 2023 season.
Taking place at the Opéra Cédric Grolet in Paris, the show featured a fresh take on the brand’s signature styles and patterns. The collection grew out of overcoats, bomber jackets, black dresses, ruffled skirts, suits, graphic denim and tees. Whether it’s a black ankle-length skirt for women or a sky blue suit for men with all-over patterns, the brand’s signature dove motif is found on every piece. By permanently incorporating the dove design, the new collection expands the brand’s exploration of freedom, unity and hope.
“A natural evolution in the brand’s mission to inspire freedom and unity at all 3.PARADIS encounters,” said Creative Director, Emeric Tchatchoua. “Our intention has always been to design from an exploratory place, using the world around us as inspiration. When I look outwards, women are a reflection of life, women deserve the ‘heaven’ “.
Women’s fashion highlights include a lavender suit with a knee-length skirt with a white dove hem, an all-over black dove dress, and a white and gray ruffled jacket that channels the movement of the wings. Key menswear pieces include a co-ordinating set in dark denim with light blue dove detailing and light wash denim with an all over white dove print. To fully sum up the meaning of the new season, 3.PARADIS presented this poem:
A bird would talk to anyone nice enough to listen
his knowledge of the free world would immediately shine
as if the sun that shines and lights up the lovers
in our world where children laugh at the power of miracles
the bird chirped and the dancers swayed,
rejoice! bring together! and let’s unite, here and now!
with so much to celebrate, make and create, the bird would say:
people are playing, having fun and pioneering peace today
there is no other way yet, please understand this may to may
hope like a child who wishes, and see PARADISE appear every day.
