Balenciaga sent broken iPhones as invitations to their show at Paris Fashion Week.
Although you might have seen paper or even digital invitations these days, but have you ever seen an invitation on a broken phone? Yes, you read that right. Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga invited guests to its Fall/Winter 2022 show at Paris Fashion Week by sending them personalized broken iPhones and photos of it have gone viral online.
The French fashion brand sent broken iPhone 6s with the date and time engraved on the back of the device. Described as a genuine 2022 artifact, it is not functional and should be used for display purposes only. “This document certifies that this device is, to the best of our knowledge, not artificially made but made from years of use and later neglect,” reads the invitation further.
The brand’s 360 degree show took place on Sunday, March 6. The photos were posted by Twitter user Bryan Boy and have gone viral online.
