TV Today: Olivia Colman to Head HBO Landscapers, Boy Groups Take Over ABC

Olivia Colman brings her prodigious talents to premium cable tonight as Oscar-winning actress headlines HBO’s new four-part crime drama Landscapers. Also today, ABC is calling the members of NSYNC, New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, New Edition, 98 Degrees and O-Town to A Very Boy Band Vacation, Michelle Young’s men tell it all The bachelorette, and David Fincher writes a love letter to the movies on Netflix See. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Monday:

Landscapers: First in limited series. Based on real events, Olivia Colman and David Thewlis play a seemingly ordinary British couple who are under investigation after two dead bodies are found in the back garden of their home. Directed by Alexander Payne (Next to). Watch the trailer. 9 p.m. ET on HBO

A very Boy Band vacation: Special holidays. Joey Fatone and Lance Bass (NSYNC), Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men), Bobby Brown (New Edition), Nick and Drew Lachey (98 Degrees), Joey McIntyre (NKOTB) and other alumni of the boy group ring the bell during the holiday season to a new hour-long musical special. 8 p.m. ET on ABC

The bachelorette party: the men say it all: Special night and time. Michelle Young’s suitors tell their side of the story in a two-hour episode. Watch the preview. 9 p.m. ET on ABC

The voice: The top 8 performers perform special ’90s-themed individual songs and duets in front of the coaches for a chance to win a spot in next week’s final. 8 p.m. ET on NBC

9-1-1: Fall final. Members of 118 are called to a series of emergencies around Christmas Eve. The procedural drama returns for the second half of Season 5 early next year. Watch the preview. 8 p.m. ET on FOX

Monday night football: It’s an NFL heavyweight battle as the New England Patriots travel north to take on the Buffalo Bills. 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT on ESPN

Hip Hop Family Christmas: TV movie. After receiving a deluge of negative press, hip-hop’s most famous family agrees to appear on a special Christmas TV show to soften their image. With Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, MC Lyte, Terrence J, and more. 9 p.m. ET on VH1

The big jump : Final season. With a massive blackout threatening to derail the finale, the cast regroup to light up the stage. Meanwhile, Reggie (Ser’Darius Blain) attempts a reconciliation with Gabby (Simone Recasner), while Nick (Scott Foley) works to convince the network that this show is something special. While FOX has yet to decide whether to renew the freshman drama, tonight’s season finale could also be the series finale. Watch the preview. 9 p.m. ET on FOX

Christmas in the city of Michael Bublé: Special holidays. The Grammy-winning singer returns to NBC to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his chart-topping album “Christmas” with a new special recorded at 30 Rock’s acclaimed Studio 8H. 10 p.m. ET on NBC

The Prisoner Forever: Original documentary. Alex Gibney (Enron: smartest guys in the room) takes viewers behind the architects of America’s torture program and the case of CIA captive Abu Zubaydah in this documentary. Watch the trailer. 10 p.m. ET on HBO


Alone at home: Eight-year-old troublemaker Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) must protect his home from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally abandoned by his family before their Christmas vacation in this 1990 classic. Watch the trailer. 1:10 p.m. ET on Freeform
